January 5th, 2017

In an absolutely talent filled and hockey enthusiest best setting, two top prospect laden teams went toe to toe until one goal in a shootout decidedthe outcome.  The United States and Canada junior teams both deserve a standing ovation for the gold medal game of the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championships played in Montreal Thursday night.

The United States continued to come back during the game with enough effort and results to force the game through a 20 minute sudden death period and then into a five man shoot out.  The goaltenders on both sides were outstanding and it was a goal though the five hole by the the USA team on their fourth shot that was the difference,

Congratulations to the USA Team on their Gold medal and the Canadian Team on their silver medal.
